- small ceramic mushroom

Arrangement 1: Simple Elegance
Dollar Tree always has a variety of these five inch bottles in seasonal colours can be used as bud vases. Adding a few stems of faux wheat stems or dried bunny tails is an elegant and stress-free way to display fall florals.
Just cut a few stems at varying heights, put them into the bottle and let them settle in a natural way. If you don’t like how they look, you can always play around with their placement until you are happy with the arrangement.
Arrangement 2: Like Colour Combination
I also tried combining the wheat stems and bunny tails together. The mouth of the vase should be wide enough to let the stems fan out a bit. This six-inch tall jewel-toned cut-glass vase is perfect for that. I found it at Dollar Tree a few years ago. I think this is a great look for a fall floral display, too.
Project 3: Compact Mixed Bouquet
Here I combined some neutral toned faux florals and leaves in a amber-coloured bottle. I started with a small bunch of orange flowers, added three wheat stems in the centre, then added two leaf stems on either side near the bottom. A small faux sunflower at the front, becomes the focal point of this autumn arrangement.
These small fall floral arrangements are perfect for bathrooms where counter space may be at a premium.
Project 4: Super Cute Mushroom Vase
I think this floral arrangement is my favourite of all the ones I’ve done here. Mushrooms are on trend this year and it seems they are now being included in decor for every season. Thinking outside the vase, as it were, I put a layer of dried moss in the bottom of a 12-inch tall cylinder vase and sat a small ceramic mushroom on top. Dollar Tree has these mushrooms every year in the summertime. This one was small enough to fit in the top of the vase I had on hand without difficulty.
Next, I pulled three orange stems from the same bush as in the last autumn display and set them in the vase so they rested just above the mushroom. The colour of these orange faux flowers pairs perfectly with the brown mushroom.
Eucalyptus is always a great element to add to a fall floral arrangement. In this case I tucked a long stem of faux eucalyptus down into the moss beside the mushroom. It bends over the mushroom and flowers naturally and is the perfect way to complete this tall vase arrangement.
If you are using a shorter vase, trim your eucalyptus stem accordingly.
FAQ
Q. How do you create a fall floral arrangement?
A. I like to keep it simple. Stick with a few stems in the same colour range and play around with the arrangement until you like what you see. Begin with a floral bush, add something tall in the centre, such as bunny tails, for height, then add some autumn leaf stems near the vase opening to frame the rest of the arrangement.
Q. How do you decorate a room with faux flowers?
A. Your fall floral designs should match the rest of the decor in your room. Consider adding twinkle lights to your faux flowers to add a soft glow to the room. Style your floral display with a small art object, such as ceramic forest creature, picture frames or other home objects. A grouping of three or five items is ideal for a stylish and elegant look.
